IFOTES conferences offer an extraordinary opportunity to meet in person and share knowledge and experiences with other volunteers and professionals involved in crisis listening services.

Full Registration includes access to all Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions and Workshops, as well as the Welcome Reception, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, morning and afternoon coffee breaks and the congress kit.

1-day Registration is available only for Thursday 9, Friday 10 (half day) and Saturday 11 July 2026 and includes one day's access to Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions and Workshops, as well as coffee breaks and the congress kit.

Special conditions are offered to young participants under-30, researchers/students and attendees from developing countries and Ukraine (see below).

Online registrations will close on 14 June 2026. After this date, on-site registration will be available only. 

INDIVIDUALS: must register through the online form. Payment can be made by bank transfer (no later than 5 days after online registration) or by credit card.

GROUPS: registration for more than one person paid by a single third party (e.g. their organization) will be processed as a group registration. The organization should contact the registration office by email (registration@ifotes.org) to receive specific instructions. To avoid multiple registrations, group participants must not register online: they should wait to receive their User ID and password. Group registrations must be paid by bank transfer only.

Bank fees: payment by bank transfer is preferable.  The account for paying the registration fees is held by IFOTES at UBS bank in Switzerland. Any bank charges related to the transfer of the registration fee must be paid by the participant or the account holder.

• Registration is mandatory: all congress participants must be registered.
• Processing: registrations will be processed on a “first come-first served” basis and confirmed upon payment only.
• User Profile: a User profile  (User ID and password) will be generated by filling in an online form, allowing users to access their Congress Account at any time and make their selections for the scientific program.
• Scientific Program Booking: the online form will initially enable “Registration” only. In January 2026, it will be updated to include Parallel Sessions and Workshops. Please note that registration for the congress is required to book scientific activities.
• Confirmation: once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email.  Instructions and a link to book social and cultural activities will be provided at the bottom of the email. 
• Social and Cultural Activities: tours, the Farewell Evening, and other on-site cultural activities can be booked only after completing your congress registration. Please note that bookings for these activities will be managed by the Hungarian agency Trivent, and not by the agency Key Congressi responsible for congress registration.
• Early registration is recommended to secure participation. The “Early Bird” fee applies up to 31 March 2026. After this date, the regular fee applies.  On-site registration will also be available, with a small fee increase.
• Bank Charges:  payment by bank transfer is preferable. Any bank charges related to bank transfers must be paid by the participant or the account holder.
• Access to Scientific Sessions: only persons wearing the Congress Badge will have access to all scientific session rooms/venues (Plenary/Parallel Sessions, Workshops).
• Accompanying persons do not need to register if they only access cultural activities and room-share with a congress participant. They are not entitled to attend scientific sessions,  but may have restricted access to the main congress venue (limited to the on-site Congress Secretariat area).
• Special Needs: For specific requirements due to physical disability or other needs, please contact the Registration Office.  
• Contact Method: email is the main contact method for all matters concerning congress participation: registration@ifotes.org    
• Special Registration cases: registration for lecturers, chairs, testimonials, Congress Steering Committee members, and Congress Scientific Committee members will be processed directly by the Registration Office.

If registration to the congress is cancelled by 8 April 2026, the participation fee will be refunded, subject to a 20% administrative charge on the paid amount per person. After 8 April 2026, no refund will be possible. However, name changes are permitted, subject to an administrative fee of € 15 per registration.
No refunds will be made in cases of non-participation or early departure.
All cancellations and name changes must be submitted in writing to registration@ifotes.org.

Participants from Developing Countries

For participants from developing countries, the following conditions apply:

Participants under-30

To encourage the participation of young people, whether TES volunteers or simply young individuals interested in social and health issues, the organizers are offering special registration rates for participants under-30:

Bursaries for Participants of Ukrainian helplines

IFOTES supports the participation of helpline operators and volunteers who are part of the Ukrainian helplines.
Applications must be submitted by 31 May 2026 to congress@ifotes.org.

Bursaries for Students and Young Researchers

Five bursaries are available to support the participation of students and young researchers in the fields of suicide prevention and emotional health.
Applications must be endorsed by the applicant’s home university and submitted to congress@ifotes.org.
